Rhinoplasty: lower hump on top of nose, smaller tip of nose, tip elevation*

Procedure Details

Rhinoplasty Nose Surgery. She had always lived with what she called a "hook nose," and wanted re-shaping of her nose to lower the hump on top of her nose and to reduce nasal tip size (tip of nose). From side view, she wanted bump on nose lowered, but also to see less nostril. She wanted the nose to appear pretty, and have a natural shape, to go along with her face, and not to look "done." Before her procedure, simulation of results showed elevation of the tip of her nose (tip rotation) in addition to the above changes, and she liked that appearance, so tip rotation and tip elevation was incorporated into her rhinoplasty procedure. Photos before and over one year after nose surgery. Steve Laverson, MD, San Diego Plastic Surgeon.
