Lower face/neckift+ chin lipo recovery day 10
Hello. This is day 10. Okay, so with the swelling, the swelling is going down in small amounts every day. The most of my swelling is right in here, so I think that would be to be expected because he did most of the work right in that area. There's a lot of bruising in here. Every night, I think the wounds hurt the most. Probably just because I'm sleeping on my head, on the side of my head. So obviously it's going to hurt because they're trying to heal.
What else? And it's pretty much just a waiting game at this point. You can still see indentations on my skin right in here. The other thing is there is a lot of swelling so it's too early to tell, but I'm seeing still a lot of this and I want that gone. That was my first concern when I went to see Dr. [Laverson 00:01:04] and he didn't really want to do the buccal fat. It's called buccal fat right in here. He didn't want to do the removal because he didn't want to skeletize my face. Which I appreciate that he is conservative because once you do too much, you can't go back. But you can always make little tweaks and do a little bit more.
So I'm just going to see how it heals and what happens and how I feel then. But I have a feeling I'm probably going to want to get that done because I've always had a really heavy shape to my face. And as soon as the tissues descend, they're all going to descend in here and you're going to see the jowls. It's like that Eastern European blood in me.
What else? I think that's... Oh, arnica gel twice a day. Not taking anything. Not taking any Tylenol. Working out, probably shouldn't be. Don't care. Probably shouldn't have said that. My dog is usually barking at potential intruders. Just kidding. She's taking a break now. She's relaxed. So that's pretty much it. If you have any questions, feel free to post them. Thank you.
Oh, what do you see? Oh. See, it's like this pretty much every day. She sees people walking by. Say goodbye. Okay. Right.
